Navajo Water Project.
The Navajo Water Project is a community-managed utility alternative that brings hot and cold running water to homes without access to water.
HOW THE PROJECT WORKS
1. New sources of water are developed, treated, and stored locally
2. Food grade trucks are used to deliver water to hundreds of families living in close proximity to sources
3. Home water systems are installed and provide 1200 gallons of cold and hot water along with solar power.
4. Project led by a council made of Diné and non-Diné
3 % of your purchase goes towards funding for water access in Dinétah also known as Navajo Nation
